Jumped back on the movie train this weekend with a spontaneous Saturday afternoon visit to The Dendy. And, given that we have now seen 3 films there, we each get a freebie ticket!

Zero Dark Thirty was Don’s choice and I was a little concerned that it might be all “America! Fuck Yeah!”, but my worries were for naught. I found it a little difficult to get into initially, but this could have been because the horribly bright fluorescent light in the projection room was on (took at least 3 requests to staff to have it turned off) which was extremely distracting. After the light issue was resolved, I enjoyed it very much and barely noticed how Very Long it was – good, compelling stuff.
