Back in the day, we planted various random fruit seeds in small containers to see what would happen. Many, many failed, but there were some successes.

Mangoes: Going swimmingly

Avocado! Planted much later, mentioned here. Thought I had an embryonic photo, but am stuffed if I can locate it.

I think I treasure these wee trees more than I do the proper plants we’ve bought and nutured.
