nodding off

I’m sure at some point I’ll not be utterly exhausted from consecutive days in the office, but I think that will be a while yet.

I have tomorrow off, I expect it will be mostly consumed by unexciting life admin – this has generally fallen a bit behind.

And in the midst of it, yet another trip to the dentist, where I will be having some amalgamy/fillingy stuff affixed to the back of one of my front teeth, which is apparently thinning. I did not know that was a thing and I do not care for it at all.

Last evening we were trying to work out precisely when we had our hot water heater replaced and took to the blog for the answer. I was sucked into the 2015 archives rabbit hole for a while and had to shake myself out. I have no idea how my past self was such a bundle of energy who got tons done. She kind of exhausts me.

  1. I didn’t know teeth-thinning was a thing either, and now it’s another thing to be afraid of. Don’t I spend enough time at the dentist already?

Loved the “all cats are beautiful” poster and with a house (not) full (enough) of black cats, I want one.

And what is it with people on typepad and their amazing creativity? look at this (v out of date so maybe she wore herself out) glittergoods.typepad.com

I will just go on reading about crafty things and then struggling with dead languages and writing things that about a dozen people will read.

    • So apparently this thinning is from “wear” which I believe is code for age. Buttressing was painless and the other front tooth will likely need the same thing in a year or so. Definitely feels stronger and more bitey.

If I spot an ACAB poster that’s removable, I will grab it for you.

Excellent find with the glittergoods blog! You always find such treasures. I look forward to deep diving. Good to know there are still undiscovered pockets out there.
