stuff i should probably explore with a therapist (2 in a potentially very long series)

Why I feel terrible if when haven’t completed a lengthy Action Item list on my days off – even when those Actions mostly consist of pointless busy work.
And let’s face it most of my Action Items lists are full of pointless busy work.

Why I feel like I have to do stuff all the time, else I am – well I don’t even know. At this point it seems like productivity for the sake of productivity – which is kind of … well … unproductive.

  1. There is a very popular Bulgarian proverb, that roughly translates Better do work for nothing than stay idle. It’s controversial and not everybody subscribes under such wisdom, but I must be of the genetic make up of the people who came up with it, as I’m the same – I have to do stuff all the time too :) But I’m OK with it – that’s how I roll, others may do different :)
