So today, after careful consideration, research and extreme agonising, I bought myself a new toy.

It is about 1/3 the weight of the very big pentax and I am sure we will be very, very happy together.

I’ve had a play on the manual settings and I’m quite pleased with my initial photos of the ladies:

But I’ll need to devote a good deal of time to actually working out how to use it properly, some of my other efforts could be much better.
