It was an absolutely, utterly freezing day (dear weather, could we have a Spring yet?), which called for something pot-roasty.

To our dismay, we could not actually identify a turnip in the fruit + veg (what we assumed was a turnip was actually a swede) and had to resort to the InformationSuperhighway for assistance.

Unsure whether we will have this again. Don and Joe/Frank quite dug it, but I found it a little meh and uninspiring. Nonetheless, the leftover vegies will make utterly spectacular bubble and squeak to accompany a steak later in the week.
