Advice:

Always ask a man for his advice but never give him yours – unless he asks for it and unless it concerns such minor questions as interior decoration, etiquette, or what to wear.

But if your husband – that natural protector who ought to know everything and to solve all your problems – condescends to follow your advice concerning the colour of his new car (if he consults you as to the make of car, it is very disturbing and you must take him to the psychiatrist), it is undoubtedly because he doesn’t quite have the courage to order the red, and he wants to shove the responsibility on you….
