Catering to the lowest common denominator (or Donna-bashing v2.0)

An excerpt from donna hay magazine: Issue 18, page 174

Spaghetti is sold dried in boxes and plastic packets in supermarkets.

Thanks for that staggering insight Donna.

Seriously, *who* would not know this? What’s next? “Milk comes in handy cartons or bottles in a convenient range of sizes and can be found in the dairy cabinet of your supermarket or corner store.”

I find it quite perplexing that whoever composed that sentence could for a moment contemplate that the intended audience is unaware that “Spaghetti is sold dried in boxes and plastic packets in supermarkets.”
