The babies having returned home to daddy, we finally hit the sales!
Fenton made out like a bandit, with $500 worth of clothes for $250.
We also purchased some rather cool S&P mugs from the Popart range – to supplement our rather pathetic collection of four mugs which were included with our dinner set. We managed to score 8 from the range of 12 (unfortunately, from googling I’ve discovered that these were limited edition, so my chances of finding the remaining four may be slim!). Disclaimer: the pop art bit is a misnomer (so y’all don’t think I’m completely ignorant when I eventually post pix, “that mrs hardly really doesn’t know what time it is” etc).
While browsing in Myer for computer games, we discovered a gem in the bargain bin.
Yes its “REAL WAR: ROGUE STATES”, the object of the game was stated in big yellow letters on the back of the pack: “Destroy the Axis of Evil”. It took me a good 5 minutes to stop laughing.
The universe has blessed us with a fabulous 40s style dining table, which is making a simply sensational computer table (which fits both the nu-secret-computer & the old computer very nicely). It is wonderful to no longer be squatting on the floor in front of the monitor! My old lady back agrees!
