On our way to collect Panzo (the car) in the afternoons, we walk by a loading dock at the back of a very large block of apartments. Quite often it is filled with the cast-off furniture from residents.

This week both Don and I did a huge double-take when we encountered a chair, the likes of which we had never seen before.

An office-y type chair with a … built in coat hanger!

A remarkably ugly chair, but what an insanely clever idea! I’m sure my jackets are being ruined by being stretched out over the back of my chair.

I can see that quite possibly it is completely impractical in reality and the coat drags on the floor and you run over it with your wheels. BUT SO CLEVER!
