Don spent a not-quite-small-fortune on a camera for my last birthday and while it is teh awesome for taking snaps, it does not measure up to the DSLR in photo quality. Unfortunately the DSLR is ENORMOUS and is quite cumbersome, so we rarely use it.

Given that lately Bessie is photography crazed, we’ve been busting out the DSLR a little more and had a blast and taking family snaps last Saturday evening (which saw much air-guitar and dancing about).

We felt like photo-journalists, albeit somewhat drunken photo-journalists. The output has been tres fab though (I foresee prints slipped in with various Christmas gifts).
