Seriously, we cannot get enough of these simmer sauces. The key to this was pre-heating the oven before we headed out for grocery shopping – then it was simply a matter of browning the meat, chucking in the sauce and into the oven. Then putting on some rice 20 minutes in (really, if you do not own a rice cooker, you should race out and get one now, I’ll wait)
Chicken Tulbagh Tomato Bredie from Something South African. Served with turkish bread – which may be a little insane, but actually works fabulously as a naan substitute (far superior to the pre-packaged naans that are about).
