Long time readers will, of course, remember my lesbian lover – who, you will recall, moved to the US in July.

More specifically, she moved to Chicago. So I emailed her on election day to tell her to get herself down to Grant Park – being that there were going to be a bazillion people there, according to CNN.

She responded much later to tell me that she had been at Grant Park – moreover, she had gotten herself down to Obama HQ 3 weeks ago with her laptop and asked what she could do to help – and ended up working 20 hour days running a phone bank, calling voters in Indiana – and as a reault, it had voted Democrat for the first time since 1964!

Most awesome indeed!

To say I am extremely envious of her experience would be the understatement of understatements!
