As much as it disgusts me to admit it, By Golly(!), I completely adore the new Beck album. I found the last one a little meh, but this is oh so very stunningly good.
Utterly lost any cred I might formerly have had.
And a bright, shiny new penny1 to anyone who can identify the “do do do, do do do, do do do, do do do” at the end (around 2.39 min in) of Gamma Ray – it has been driving me around the proverbial for days. I’m sure it features in something, but what?
Anyway, suck it up and go get a copy.
