So here are the photos I stopped myself from taking when I was off my face on sudafed. If I was an A-List craft blogger (compleat with book deal, as they all seem to have acquired in the year that I was blog-abstinent), they would be ever-so-elegantly arranged and beautifully lit and you would all be envious-as-all-get-out, but I’m not, so they aren’t and you’re not.

Anyways, here is the rug on which I wanted to base my … errmmm … rug (Don requested I leave it oriented this way because it looks like a rather cool wall):

As, I mentioned, in desperate need of blocking (which I have never done before). I really dig the shape and think that I could potentially do very cool things with this in three/four colours and some decent yarn (something more than $1.67 acyrlic).

I wove all the ends in last night (so it looks somewhat more polished than in the image above, which has some ends showing through), and am leaving it sitting on the couch for a few days to see how I feel about it. I still have a couple more balls of this ghastly stuff, so might whip up another square to see what they look like together.
