One of our lovely 2 tech support boys1 came to install Crystal Reports on my PC, so I wandered off for a cigarette and when I returned he was reading slashdot while the installer was going. We then had a rather nice slashdot chat and he commented, “I’m surprised you don’t use Firefox“, to which I replied, “don’t even get me started”. He said, ‘oh don’t listen to the MicrosoftPimp”, I explained that I had tried to download it but that surfcontrol had stopped me. He explained that firefox was on the server (d’oh) and installed it for me then and there.
I have now tabs! I can block pop-ups! huzzah! and he is my new best friend!!
