i’ve wanted to cook this cake since i found it, so on impulse i picked up some ingredients on my outing to woolworths. impulse because, i did not look at the recipe and now, after reading it, i find i am lacking an ingredient – namely a lemon. my baking powder is also several years old, so i doubt it will cut it in the raising stakes.

looks like i will have to make another trip (which i would like to avoid because i go to buy one thing and end up spending $40+) or i could wait until tomorrow.

typepad blogs tend to be infinitely superior in content to blogger ones.

it would seem that lemon is actually absent in the instructions, so i might attempt it sans lemon.
