i pride myself on being self-sufficient, so when my attempts at fixererering are less than spectacular it is more than a little annoying.

i bought a new shower hose / head thingie because the existing one was a bit drippy. so fix away i did – and the new one dripped just as much – arggghhhhh.

so after wrapping the joints with super-special plumber-type tape, i packed the tools away, only to discover that i had forgotten to insert the appropriate washers – d’oh.

back to unpack the tools and remove the tape….

well it is fixed and non-drippy (although i think that the washer on the cold tap needs replacing, but i will save that little task for my beloved, because i can’t quite work out how to remove the little sign that says “cold”)
