The visit to the dentist was quite a bit less terrible than my last crown adventure, but once the anaesthetic wore off in the afternoon I was a bit sore and sorry for myself.

I was greatly cheered by ibuprofen and a nourishing zoom chat with Excellent Imaginary Internet Now Real Life Friend Carmen. She was taking the afternoon off to travel to another city to see art. This is an infinitely better use of time than using a day off for the dentist I think.
