My completed Melodia shawl before blocking.

It’s headed for the bath tomorrow. Hopefully it retains its amazing softness and texture.

I added a chunk of additional rows to ensure I used as much yarn as possible. I think this was a good and sensible thing to do, rather than having the remainder
of the ball hanging about. While I’ve seen some wonderful projects made with random leftover yarn. I am realistic enough to know that I am unlikely to complete such a project.

Despite the additions, still not quite as epic as my last shawl!
