I once would have been absolutely adamant that there was no way I would enjoy a tropical resort holiday.

And for a very long time that would have been correct.

What I like about being an old lady is realising that it is perfectly acceptable to change your mind about all manner of things! And that regularly challenging your assumptions should be encouraged.
