Remember back at the beginning of 2008 when I bought Don the “1001 albums you must hear before you die”?

And how we were planning to listen to 13% of them during that year?

And how we only listened to, like, 9 of them before the project went into hiatus?

Well, Don has a new enthusiasm (and new super-computer – and has hooked it up to the amp) and we’re back on board the 1001-albums train (and since 2008, some delightful soul has made a torrent of all the albums – not that we would condone that sort of thing at all, downloading is bad, kiddies!).

So tonight, we’ve crossed off:

Haircut 100: Pelican West (1982) (p.494)

And, my goodness, we’ll do our best to knock over the remainder of the 1001.
