Of course, as one who reads craftsy blogs, I’ve been aware of etsy, like forever.

But I’d never really got on the etsy bandwagon because it is so tiresome to browse through many perfectly revolting items in search of the gold. Which, incidentally, is why I utterly adore the etsy-love blog.

But recently, I took the etsy plunge and acquired, among other things, the most gorgeous necklace. Seriously, 10 people made a point of admiring it the second time I wore it, and complete randoms comment on and love it, so yay! for Shiny Bits. I’m quite chuffed indeed, as they say.

I now have a somewhat long list of things I want to buy next – such a shame that the AU$ is totally sucking right now
