We’re not indulging in America Day festivities as we did last year, as both Don and Dfkan are at their respective End Of Financial Year celebrations. They even give giftage at Dfkan’s place of employ.

Marie Celeste has a similar celebration, but ours is in August, so I’m at Home Alone eating take-away chicken and drinking my first glass of wine for the week. It is quite amazing how not drinking during the week REALLY makes you look forward to Friday.

Later I will do some more work on the blanket while watching more Hart to Hart, which seems like a perfect Friday night, actually.
