on saturday we viewed a potential new abode – another flat in our block.

as regular readers would be aware, the current hardly haus is so very very tiny, so we were expecting the flat we looked at to be much the same size – with additional bedrooms. how wrong we were – the other flat is massive – we could have played cricket in there (we’d be hard pressed to play a sedate game of marbles in here). the kitchen is bigger than our current bedroom. the only downside (apart from overall shabbiness) – the bathrooms (wow – 2 bathrooms!), which are broom-cupboard sized and appear to be crafted from a single piece of fibreglass.

we’re now hanging by our toenails waiting for approval … which hopefully will occur upon the morrow – we’re quite keen to be out before the sprogs next visit.
