we all know that i have a love/hate relationship with my elderly twin-tub washing machine. i should be grateful i actually know how it works – every so often i get hits from those googling for (something rather similar to) “h00vermatic de luxe wash1ng mach1ne 1nstructions”. it must be awfully disappointing to end up here!

so i am thinking i will scan and upload the manual as an aid to those poor unfortunates who are also forced to wrestle with the hdl, and who, unlike me, do not have the benefit of an instruction manual.

we’ll see how long my enthusiasm & benevolence lasts when my computer needs to be re-booted after each page is scanned.
