i feel like baking biscuits, I don’t know why.
i have appealed to Harriet for a very plain/basic biscuit recipe – i do not have such a thing and my /one/ cook-book only calls for exotic ingredients.
i want a basic recipe which works, where i can add whatever takes my fancy/is available, but which will be tasty sans additions (for when we are very skint).
and the marvellous Harriet comes through again!!!

Oh dear, I do hope they turn out okay! I made them once with almonds and white choc chips – they were very yummy but also sweet and sickly, so you couldn’t have more than one without feeling ill!
