This year, I intentionally kept things fairly sedate and I think I have had the most relaxing weekend in as long as I can remember. It has been exceptional.

This year I have experienced many new, unexpected and glorious things – and there is definitely a lesson in that. As I pointed out to Don and then Heather and NotHeather at my almost-birthday lunch on Friday (and anyone else who will listen), we might feel old when we consider all we have done in our lives thus far, but, realistically, there is another complete lifetime ahead!
