It was rather difficult to sleep last night – what with the howling wind, the shaking haus and incessant rain.
Woke up this morning after disturbed sleep to more of the same, the haus was shaking in an alarming manner, the rain was pouring and we were forced to drive to yoga, lest we drown on the way.
After pondering if this was what it was like to live in the Pacific Northwest (45 minutes of sunshine for the week!), suddenly around midday, the sun came out and it became a simply glorious, sparkling day!
We took advantage and walked the quite long walk to Leichhardt to cruise by the prospective neighbourhood and buy wine.
While I did wear a hat, I unfortunately neglected the sunscreen.
