Don and I have each been married 3 times (well, 3.5 for me if we count Fenton, which we totally should), I have three children, we’ve been through much (so very much) and have had a good deal of life experience.
But we have just done the most grown-up thing of our entire lives: we’ve applied for mortgage pre-approval and made an offer for a property.
I know!
So far we have …
Pre-Mortgage loan approval: achieved!
though we were terribly worried about how my bankruptcy of [almost] 10 years ago would affect it
Offer: extended!
we’ve given them 7 days, we’ll see how it pans out
It was not too long ago that I was living in near abject poverty and subsisting on rice/tomato/onions.
I am thankful every day to be in the incredibly fortunate situation I am (we are) in.
Fingies crossed for a positive outcome, but I cannot complain at all about where I am now.
Congratulations!
And good luck with the next seven days.
Thank you!
The process is a very difficult one for people who are all about the Immediate!Gratification! (though we are getting a little better about that)
Goodness, many congratulations, i only wish to be so fortunate at some point in the near future!
Harriet!!!
Looking at where I was when I was your age, I am quite sure that you will definitely be at that point when you are mine!
